How do I shut off the service engine soon light?
Had my 1003 Pontiac Grand Am serviced and the moved out of area. Tech didn’t reset the service engine soon light. Happened once before and salesman pushed some button near the steering wheel and wouldn’t show me how. I’m not living near a dealer and want to do it myself. Anyone know how, it’s of course not in the manual.
Assuming that there are no problems causing the light to come on, you can usually disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Then reconnect it and the light should go out.
