Above ground pool, do you cover during the summer or leave it open?
We are new owners of an above ground pool. Vendors in the place you bought the pool had not been very helpful. I just called to ask why we have not received our home with pool. The man told me we were going to receive the end of the season. I said then, well, we have to buy a cover for the summer, then? He said no, they do not cover the pool in summer. Is this true? It supposed to leave it open during the summer? When I was a child of the family of my friend cover the pool every night, so keep it clean. I'm puzzled. Thanks for advance!
You do not have to cover, in fact, it is better if they do not. This gives the possibility of water out of the combined chlorine gas because they are oxidized. Also, if you happen to have an analysis of water chemistry done on the pool water recently please include the results.
