What makes your hot tub / spa to sit in?
I just bought a used Hot Tub slightly. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get everything ready. I have no patio or deck took him. I'd also like not having to pour a concrete pad well. Any suggestions for something I could do without it cost me an arm and a leg? Also, if you have an outside spa do you have in a screen room or just under the stars? Thanks for any advice.
If you are looking for cheap way out you can basically make a paver block pad to support it. There is no guarantee that the blocks will not crack under the weight because I have no idea how big your tub, but have had success with helping a couple of friends to do this previously. It is important if you want to get the land near the level with a metal rake hard and compact soft spots. In order to eliminate gaps in the floor spread a good layer of sand, even in the top soil before placing the blocks paver down. If you dig the top layer of loose soil and grass beforehand that paver blocks out basically even with the ground which will help prevent change and cracks, because they are trapped in place by the surrounding dirt. I strongly recommend the use of a four-foot level to check the level of the blocks and put them in. A flat surface is not the same as a flat surface and no doubt will notice that the water fun session in the tub if it is severely out of level.
